キャンプで見かけるローテーブル（風）を作ってみた　[日記] [編集]

とある『とあるもの』を作ろうとしたのだが、その『とあるもの』でやってみたい塗装の仕上がりを見てみたかったので、

別の『とあるもの』を作って試してみました。

アウトドア好きな皆さんがよく自作しているローテーブルです。

大きさは約480×約300×約170。

よく見かけるローテーブルよりひと回り小さいです。

小さいのは、あまってる材料で作ったっていうのもあるけど、他にも理由があります。

その理由は後ほど。

構造は一般的なローテーブルと一緒。

天板がスノコ状で、脚が格納できるヤツね。

で、この手のローテーブルではあまり見かけない、天板をヌリヌリしちゃいます。

使った塗料はコレ。

Old Villageのバターミルクペイント。

色は#14-29 Ohaio Cupboard Bleuと#14-29 Virginia Clock Bleu。

塗るとなんともカワイイマットな質感。

これはこれでいいんだけど、新しいペンキってちょっと照れくさいカンジがしません？

ということで、ペーパーで擦って、少し下地を出します。

おっ！いい雰囲気が出てきましたよ。

さらにさらに、こんな秘密兵器を使ってもうひと手間加えます。

これはアンティークリキッドという塗料で、塗って拭くだけで使い込んだ風合いがでる、なんとも便利な代物なのです。

左から、バターペイント塗りっぱなし。サンドペーパーを掛けたもの。アンティークリキッド塗布後。

むぅ・・・ちょっとやりすぎた感が・・・（笑）

天板以外のパーツはWATCOのオイルフィニッシュ。

ナチュラルにしたので、ほんのわずか黄味が強くなる程度です。

最後に組み立てて完成！（ありゃ、自然光とだいぶ色が違って見えるな・・・）

って、簡単に言ってますが、結局1日かかってしまった・・・

なにが面倒って、そりゃペーパー掛けです。

２色使ったのに、イマイチ違いがわかりませんね（笑）

さて、この大きさにした理由ですが。

このテーブルはアウトドアで使うためでもなんでもなくて、レイのフードボール台ってオチです（笑）

脚は折り畳めなくても良かったんじゃ・・・
